I've been using YSL L'Homme since 2010 and till this day, continue to buy. Still smells great and can be used for any occasion, work, date, school, etc. The only flaw about the recent batches is its performance, but I just layer it with Molecule 01 and get over 7 hours.To me Y Le parfum smells like JPG Eau Fraiche mixed with the Y DNA. Also haven’t had an issue with performance. It doesn’t project as heavy as the edp but lasts just as long on my skin. I don’t care too much about performance unless it’s piss .

Not a big fan, but not a bad one either (I still think it smells good). Y Le Parfum is sweeter and darker at the same time, but Y EDP is just bolder, less sugary sweet, and more versatile to me .This results in Le Parfum being slightly less sweet as it replaces the tonka in the original. It is also a little less powdery and feels more fresh. In the air they smell pretty much the same though you can notice subtle differences off your skin. The amberwood makes Le Parfum feel a bit more synthetic but it does greatly boost performance.

In terms of richness/gourmandness from low/none to high: EDT EDP (OG) Intense Le Parfum Le parfum also doesn't have that strong of a lavender note - very faint.Ysl Y Parfum is basically like the EDT with a toned down apple opening. It’s not as cloying and doesn’t project as much. It’s still very much a fresh clean smell. Sauvage Elixer isn’t dark at all. It’s kinda gourmandy, maybe like black locorice. It’s really strong.
