As to the pieces with an unsigned movement, they're total fakes with an FHF 96 or an Asian clone thereof. Theoretically, not buying from India doesn't save one from these watches, you just need to learn how to recognize them, as the Bombay fakers/redialers have "sales agents" in the UK, US, Canada. I believe you can buy watches from India (I highly discourage anyone to do so) that will work just fine but don't think you are getting a real Citizen. They most likely are fake. I've seen the weirdest Oris watches being sold from India on eBay.
